Each set of the Apostles Edition is provided in a deluxe viewing stand and cabinet made by Saint John’s Abbey Woodworking in Minnesota. The seven-drawer cabinet is made of quarter-sawn red oak with Welsh oak and ebony accents, reflections of the project’s provenance as a collaboration between teams in Minnesota and Wales. The cabinet’s accents reference the Saint John’s Abbey Church, built in 1960 by Marcel Breuer. The leather-lined drawers have finger recesses to assist in easily removing the volumes for display and use.
