Pope Francis and The Saint John's Bible Apostles Edition – The Saint John's Bible
His Holiness Pope Francis receiving the final volume of The Saint John’s Bible Apostles Edition presented by Donald Jackson at the Vatican in 2015. One of just 12 Apostles Edition sets in the world, it is housed at the Vatican Museum of Art.

There is only one Saint John’s Bible – but you can participate in bringing it to the world by acquiring one of the remaining 6 Apostles Editions.

The Apostles Edition offering includes the following:

  • Seven-volume Apostles Edition limited to just 12
  • Custom dedication page in the Pentateuch volume
  • Original artwork by one of The Saint John’s Bible illuminators
  • Deluxe viewing display and cabinet
  • Donation of a seven-volume Heritage Edition to a qualified nonprofit institution

The Apostles Editions are reserved for major donors to The Saint John’s Bible program at Saint John’s University. Generous families and foundations, inspired by this historic work of sacred art, have made it possible for the Apostles Edition to become a part of the permanent collections at the Library of Congress, the Morgan Library, the Vatican Museum of Art and other locations. Their generosity has also helped fund The Saint John’s Bible Gallery and the overall Saint John’s Bible program.

Saint John’s University is actively seeking six more sponsors to bring these rare editions to communities around the world. If you are interested in acquiring or donating one of the 6 available Apostles Editions, please contact Rev. Dr. John F. Ross, Executive Director, The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Program, by phone at (320) 363-3209 or by email at jross001@csbsju.edu.
