Washington, D.C. – Inspiration stirred, friends reunited, and big red books abounded at the Association of Catholic Colleges and Universities (ACCU) 2025 Annual Meeting.
This year’s meeting ran from January 31, 2025 to February 3, 2025 and took place at the Grand Hyatt Washington in Washington, D.C.
The ACCU Annual Meeting is a place for presidents and senior administrators from Catholic colleges and universities to unite and find community, share their struggles and triumphs, and work together to uplift their respective institutions.
As Platinum Sponsors of this year’s Annual Meeting, the Heritage Program:
- Supported the Institute for New Presidents with notecard gift packs and information packets
- Participated in the Opening Liturgy with two volumes
- Sponsored a “Real World Session” moderated by Heritage Program Executive Director Rev. Dr. John F. Ross
- Hosted two tables at the “Lunch & Learn”
- Sponsored and spoke at the President’s Breakfast
- Displayed two volumes of The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Edition throughout the event
“It’s been a couple of years since The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Program has been present for this event, so it was wonderful to catch up with old friends and make new ones as well,” said Ross. “Much about the world has changed in recent years, but the mission of The Saint John’s Bible remains the same: to ignite the spiritual imagination of people around the world.”

One highlight from the weekend was the President’s Breakfast on Monday morning, which the Heritage Program sponsored. Executive Director Rev. Dr. John Ross was honored to speak to attendees and offer a final message to send them away to their colleges and universities. During the speech, he offered remarks about why colleges and universities across the world that have benefitted from acquiring The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Edition.
“It has been a differentiator in student and faculty recruitment and retention at institutions such as Marian University in Dayton, Ohio,” said Ross. “It has extended outreach and engagement to people who otherwise might not visit campus at institutions such as St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota. Finally, it can be a unique tool for donor cultivation as institutions work to increase major gift giving, as it has for Duke University.”
