New Video Playlist Showcases the Heritage Edition in Use Across the Globe

If you’ve been looking for new (virtual) ways to explore The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Edition, look no further than The Saint John’s Bible YouTube channel.  

The channel hosts a new video playlist, “How the Heritage Editions are Being Used” that features videos from news channels, libraries, universities, and religious institutions across the globe, each showcasing the Heritage Edition in action. From concerts to studies to newsrooms to worship services – each institution has a new and unique way to use the Heritage Edition to ignite the spiritual imagination of people of all faith journeys.

Christ the King Priory Creates Interactive Sacred Space for The Saint John’s Bible Heritage Edition  

When Christ the King Priory’s Saint Benedict Center in Schuyler, Nebraska acquired a Heritage Edition of The Saint John’s Bible in 2020, it tapped into, and expanded upon, the artistry of the Bible and the curiosity it inspires to create a full display room for the volumes. The room features illuminations from the Bible on its walls, information on the creation of the Bible, some of the tools used to create it, and, of course, the volumes themselves.

TODAY Show: New York’s Saint Patrick’s Cathedral receives rare Saint John’s Bible 

On December 23rd, 2024, NBC’s Today Show aired a 4-minute segment on the recent gift of an Apostles Edition of The Saint John’s Bible to Saint Patrick’s Cathedral in New York City. The segment features interviews with Executive Director of the Heritage Program, Rev. Dr. John F. Ross, and His Eminence Timothy Cardinal Dolan Archbishop of New York. Cardinal Dolan speaks to the significance of the gift to the Cathedral and the people of New York on a national stage.

St Martin-in-the-Fields Projects Illuminations During Messiah Performance

The Academy of St Martin-in-the-Fields is a renowned orchestra based in London, England. For its March 2021 performance of Handel’s Messiah, award-winning projection artist Nina Dunn created visuals based on illuminations from The Saint John’s Bible to project upon the east window of St Martin-in-the-Fields Church. The Church received a Heritage Edition in 2009 and has used it in worship since.
